Codex is one woman band from London specialising in music that falls somewhere between Trip-hop and subversive soundscapes. the idea for Codex came about in 2013 when the primary musician for Codex [Ashlinn Nash] wanted to break away from the purely instrumental works she had completed with Phoenix-Embers.
Under the new name of Codex, she has written and completed five albums, two EP's as well as various singles since Codex's inception in 2013.
